Asiana Airline's Last 747 Passenger Flight

Asiana Airlines has officially retired its final passenger Boeing 747-400, registered as HL7428. The aircraft, delivered to the South Korean carrier in 1999, was original scheduled to leave the airline in 2021, but continued operating until today. On March 25th, 2024, the 747 left ICN at 10:15 local time and after arriving at 11:30, was welcomed with a water salute at TPE. At 13:30, HL7428 departed Taipei for its final flight, landing back in Seoul at 16:35. The final flight, OZ712, was between Taipei (TPE) and Seoul (ICN).
