Both China Southern and Air China are set to receive their first COMAC C919s on Wednesday, August 28th. A delivery ceremony will be held at the company’s Pudong manufacturing base adjacent to Shanghai International Airport. High-level officials from COMAC, China Southern, Air China and the Civil Aviation Administration of China are all expected to attend.

The first C919 to be delivered to China Southern has the manufacturer serial number (MSN) 00018, while the first C919 for Air China has MSN 00019. They are the 12th and 13th COMAC C919s manufactured for customer delivery, with the first 11 all expected to be for China Eastern.
