On December 6th, the last Boeing 747 rolled off the assembly lines at the company’s widebody factory in Everett, Washington. The last ever Boeing 747-8F will go through multiple test flights before being delivered to Atlas Air in 2023. The aircraft currently bears the Manufacturer Serial Number 67150 and will eventually get registered as N863GT.

The 747, dubbed the “Queen of the Skies”, was introduced in 1968 and became one of the most successful planes in the industry. Fifty-four years and 1, 574 Boeing 747s later, this era has come to an end.
